Dr. Angel J. Sierra holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Puerto Rico. He graduated with great distinctions of a Master of Science and a Doctorate of Philosophy on Industrial Organizational Psychology from Carlos Albizu University. He is a work psychologist, president of the organizational consulting company Linterna, LLC, and a graduate school university professor. He has vast international experience studying at Florida International University and working as an organizational consultant in Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, the United States, and Peru. Dr. Sierra holds certifications in mental health first aid and crisis intervention, as a developer of psychologically healthy organizations, and in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology. He has a varied work experience as a consultant taking his expertise to hospitals, producers, packers, builders, product and service stores, distributors, food stores, government agencies, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations, among others. He has developed leadership academies, quantitative and qualitative evaluations, strategic planning, human resources departments, talent management, statistical consulting, and organizational diagnostics. He has given many trainings and workshops on occupational health and wellness issues (stress management, communication, anxiety, resilience, diversity management, and mindfulness, among others). He has also published articles and scientific research on organizational change and works on the individual development of leading professionals to whom he gives his coaching and mentoring to grow within their industries.  Dr. Sierra continuously participates in programs on Radio Isla, WIPR radio, and channel 13. In 2016 he won the "Most Outstanding Young People of Puerto Rico" award granted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization or UNESCO. Currently, his specialization is in change management and organizational growth. He provides his services as a consultant because, as he says, he wants to: "help others grow and develop their most significant potential so that, together, we can positively impact others and continue to improve".
